NEW RECORDING PRAISED BY INTERNATIONAL PUBLICATIONS

Carmine Miranda's new recording of the Shostakovich and Rachmaninoff Sonatas for Cello and Piano is now available and making international headlines:

Ritmo Magazine (Spain) featured Carmine Miranda and Robert Marler in the front cover of the February edition and The Whole Note (Canada) writes "Miranda’s deep, rich cello and Marler’s clear, warm piano, perfectly balanced and beautifully recorded, immediately promise great things – and boy, do they deliver!"

BBC Music Magazine already awarded the album a "four out of four stars" and Gramohophone Magazine adds "Miranda and Marler catch the music’s mercurial, passionate nature as well as any pair have done, their momentum providing an immediacy – especially in Navona’s clear sound – that gives even Rostropovich and the composer (Warner Classics, 12/58) a run for their money"

About the album:

Acclaimed award-winning soloist Carmine Miranda and GRAMMY-nominated Nashville Symphony pianist Robert Marler combine their virtuosity with the legendary three-time GRAMMY-nominated producer Alan Shacklock and celebrated mastering engineer Tommy Dorsey (Berlin Philharmonic – Deutsche Grammophon) to deliver the highest quality performances of these works.
